Known as “nature’s skin soother,” Calendula is prized for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. Harvested at peak bloom and carefully dried to preserve its natural color and potency, this botanical treasure supports radiant skin, promotes wound healing, and soothes irritation both inside and out.

Calendula is a must-have in any natural wellness routine—ideal for herbal teas, infused oils, salves, and skin care formulations designed to nurture and protect.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To use:

Tea/Infusion: Add 1–2 tsp of dried Calendula flowers to hot water and steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain and enjoy up to twice daily.

Topical Use: Infuse dried Calendula flowers into carrier oil (such as olive or jojoba oil) for 2–4 weeks, then strain and use in balms, salves, or directly on the skin.

Bath Soak: Add a handful of flowers or a few drops of Calendula-infused oil to bathwater to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Calendula is generally safe when used appropriately, but certain individuals should exercise caution:

Pregnancy: High iodine levels can worsen symptoms in individuals with overactive thyroids.

Allergies: Avoid if allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family (such as daisies, marigolds, or ragweed).

Surgery: Stop use at least 2 weeks before surgery due to possible sedative or blood pressure–lowering effects.

Medications and Supplements

Sedatives or Sleep Aids: Calendula may enhance drowsiness when combined with medications or supplements that cause sleepiness.

Blood Pressure Medications: May have mild additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.

Anticoagulants (Blood Thinners): Use with caution; Calendula may mildly increase bleeding risk in sensitive individuals.

Hormonal or Fertility Treatments: Internal use is not advised alongside treatments that affect hormones or the reproductive system.
